Map a dspConduct™ Task to a Task Imported from IGC™

After a task has been created and published in IGC™ and imported into dspConduct™, a Process Designer must map at least one dspConduct™ task to it.

An IGC™ task can have multiple dspConduct™ tasks assigned.

An IGC™ task can be mapped to:

NOTE: To create a new dspConduct™ task based on a new page in the Content WebApp, a user must be assigned to the Power Designer and Designer roles in System Administration and the Administrator role in the Content WebApp assigned to that category.

Before performing these steps, Set Up a Category from IGC™ in dspConduct™ if needed.

NOTE: When a Post role is imported into dspConduct™, if the role has no IGC™ tasks assigned to it one dspConduct™ generic Post task is created for the Post role.

After mapping is complete, pages in dspConduct™ update to reflect the mappings. If existing dspConduct™ task(s) have been mapped to an IGC™ task, the Role Task page(s) and the Scenario Role Task page(s) update to reflect these mappings. If an IGC™ task is mapped to a new dspConduct™ task, the Task page is updated.

NOTE: To view the roles to which the selected IGC™ task is assigned, click the Roles button on the IGC Task page. From there, after a task is assigned to the role, click the Where Used icon to view the scenarios and business processes that use the role task.
